The St Ives Food and Drink Festival is set to return to Porthminster Beach from May 16th to 18th, 2025. This annual celebration offers a delightful blend of culinary experiences, live music, and family-friendly activities, all set against the stunning backdrop of St Ives.
This beloved event is all about celebrating our community’s rich culinary heritage, showcasing local talent, and uniting food enthusiasts for an unforgettable experience.
Festival Highlights:
Sunset Sessions: The festival’s evening entertainment, known as the Sunset Sessions, features an impressive lineup of musical acts. On Friday, the legendary Norman Jay MBE will take the stage, followed by the dynamic duo Ferris & Sylvester on Saturday. The weekend concludes with a performance by The Scribes on Sunday. Chef Demonstrations: Renowned chefs will showcase their culinary skills at the Chef’s Fire Pit. Notable participants include Ashley Palmer-Watts of The Devonshire in Soho, Ben Prior from Porthminster Beach Café in St Ives, and Tom Brown of Pearly Queen in Shoreditch. Attendees can look forward to live cooking demonstrations, offering insights into innovative cooking techniques and flavour combinations. Family Activities: The festival caters to all ages with a variety of family-friendly activities. Children can enjoy bouncy slides, sports games, face painting, circus activities, and more, ensuring a fun-filled experience for the whole family.
Trader Opportunities:
Applications for trade stands at the 2025 festival are now open. Prospective traders are encouraged to review the festival’s terms and conditions and submit their applications promptly. Priority is given to Cornish producers, with a 10% discount available for local traders holding a TR26 postcode. The festival attracted approximately 30,000 visitors in 2023, making it a valuable opportunity for businesses to showcase their products to a large audience.
