Water Safety, the RNLI & You

The RNLI needs your help. Last year the UK experienced an unprecedented summer.

The RNLI needs your help. Last year the UK experienced an unprecedented summer. There were 48 fatalities around the Cornish coast including 8 in the South West. This was due to an increased volume of coastal users along with a number of other factors.

This year we are expecting another extremely busy summer in Cornwall. To prevent further incidents and loss of life we are looking to involve the local community to help share our safety messages.

One of the ways that local businesses can help us is to sign up as a local ambassador. This involves things such as simply printing off and displaying a safety poster in your premises. Otherwise, we are happy to liaise with businesses to find ways in which they can contribute best.

If you are interested in becoming a local ambassador follow the link below or if would like to find out more information please contact: katherine_woods@rnli.org.uk
