A trial of changes to the road layout in St Ives has now begun, following work by Cornwall Council.
The trial introduces adjustments to traffic movement and road use in parts of the town, aimed at improving safety and managing traffic flow. These changes are being monitored and will be reviewed as part of the trial period.
What businesses and visitors need to know
- The trial is already underway
- Access to the town, including for pedestrians and vehicles, remains in place
- Some routes and priorities may feel different, so extra care is advised when travelling through the affected areas
- Signage is in place on site to help guide road users
