It may feel early, but preparations are already in full swing for one of St Ives’ biggest and most anticipated events — our New Year’s Eve Fireworks display.
St Ives BID is proud to coordinate this celebration, and behind the scenes, there’s a huge amount of planning to ensure the evening is safe, well-managed and memorable for all the right reasons.

What’s Happening So Far:
- Road closures have been applied for to ensure safe public access and event flow.
- We’ve confirmed Diverse Events as our experienced Event Management Company, who will help coordinate logistics and crowd control.
- Celebration Pyrotechnics has been booked to deliver a spectacular fireworks display over the harbour once again.
- St John Ambulance has been secured to provide essential first aid support on the night.
Safety remains our top priority. We’re already working closely with the local police, and this will continue right up until the event to ensure the night runs smoothly.
As we move into the autumn, we’ll also be:
- Collaborating with local businesses to ensure they have door staff in place.
- Coordinating with volunteer groups and the Town Council for litter picking and post-event clean-up.
New Year’s Eve in St Ives is a truly special experience, attracting thousands of visitors in fancy dress to celebrate by the sea. We’re proud to help make it happen — safely and spectacularly.
