Residents and businesses based in St Ives have praised the town’s biggest ever New Year’s Eve celebrations, which attracted record numbers to celebrate in our lovely town.

2018 was welcomed in with a bang as nearly 30,000 people poured into the seaside town of St Ives to enjoy a lively New Year’s Eve party, which has been said to have been the biggest celebration since the Millennium.
The annual fireworks (3½ tons!) sponsored by the St Ives Businesses, set off from Smeaton’s Pier were the biggest display the town had ever seen and were the highlight of the night!
