St Ives BID will come to the end of its current term on 31^st May 2024.  

For almost a decade, St Ives BID has successfully delivered projects and services that businesses have identified as priorities. St Ives BID would like to thank all businesses and other partners in the town for the time and support they have given that has enabled these initiatives to be successfully delivered.

Under BID legislation, St Ives BID can be renewed for a further five years from June 2024 – May 2029 subject to a new business plan being published and a ballot being held.  Feedback from businesses so far through our early survey indicates that there is an appetite for the BID to be renewed. 

We have used this early feedback to suggest some project ideas under four main themes but want you to tell us if these are the right ones and also hear about any new ideas you may have. We will use the results to shape our next business plan.

June 2023	Formal request to Cornwall Council to run ballot
July 2023	Notice of ballot published on Monday 4th September 2023 with ballot papers issued on Monday 18th September 2023 signifying the start of the minimum 28-day postal ballot.
August 2023	Business Plan despatched to all levy payers
September 2023	Close of the ballot on Thursday 19th October 2023 at 5pm with the result notified by Monday 23rd October 2023
Thursday 19th October 2023	Close of ballot on Thursday 19th October 2023 at 5pm with the result notified by Monday 23rd October 2023
Saturday 1st July 2024	If the vote is successful, the third term of St Ives BID begins
