The St Ives Business Improvement District is holding an Extraordinary General Meeting on Wednesday 3rd April 2019, at St Ives Library, Gabriel Street, St Ives, TR26 2LX at 5.30pm.
The purpose of this meeting is appoint directors to the BID Board. The directors will be responsible for overseeing and steering the direction of the BID programme as well as being accountable to the levy paying members. These positions are unpaid and for one year thereafter. Directors can then put themselves forward for another year if they so wish. These positions present an ideal opportunity for business people to shape the future success of St Ives.
We hope that there will be a lot of interest in these positions and would encourage nominations from all sectors, size of business and areas within the BID boundary. The success of the BID depends upon the involvement, expertise and enthusiasm of the Board.
If you would like to become a director and take an active part in seeing projects delivered in the best way for St Ives businesses please read the Articles of Association, Director’s Duties and Skills Required of Directors. You will also need to complete and return the Nomination Form. The Acceptance of Appointment Form should be completed at a later date if you are successfully appointed.
Please note, only fully paid BID members can nominate or be nominated. The deadline for the return of completed director nomination forms is 5pm on Thursday 28th February 2019.
