What a fabulous achievement and another big tick in the St Ives businesses box well done Danny & Lee
Cohort Hostel (St Ives) has been recognised by the global platform HOSTELWORLD in their HOSCARS Awards. We are one of 5 finalists in the category of Extraordinary Sustainable Hostel. Not only that but we are the ONLY British finalistto have made the finals across all 7 categories (35 global hostels).
This is a hugely significant win for St Ives, especially with the focus on our town holding the G7 Summit this year.
Cohort Hostel are already a Gold Green Tourism award holder and have previously won awards for innovation (South West Tourism Awards) and sustainability (Cornwall Tourism Awards) so they have plenty of accreditations to back up these awards which are not only run by a global, listed company but are also well-known in the hospitality industry.
This is a much-needed boost for this sector which has suffered more than most hospitality businesses during the pandemic, due to shared facilities and the focus on social experiences.
