National Journalists Visits

Visit our beautiful town in the winter months..

St Ives Business Improvement District is working hard to promote St Ives as an all year round holiday destination, and not just somewhere to holiday during the summer.

A key part of the BID’s brief is to encourage visitors to experience St Ives throughout the Winter months. To this end, the BID has worked with Cornwall communications agency DCA on a programme to promote the town as a key holiday destination all year round.

To date there has been several trips, generating some great editorial coverage. The BID invites journalists to visit during the winter months, avoiding the peak season and attracting visitors to the town when it’s less crowded but still has a lot to offer.

The articles cover a range of different angles, from activity breaks to romantic weekends, relaxation sessions to family holidays. Some of the journalists booked in so far include:

South Wales Argus 27th – 30th January

Western Daily Press 27th February – 3 rd March

Bath Life Magazine 24th – 26th February

Bristol Post TBC

Plymouth Herald February TBC

Bath Life 17th – 19th March

Swindon Advertiser TBC
